Hundreds of Km ahead and hundred of Km behind. This long are the trips in Australia, but we are still preparing the "long" drive which will locate ourselves with 2000 km ahead and 2000 km behind. Any ideas where can this place be?

Water Texture

I specially like how they manage to give water this texture, it is a part of the fountain located at the parlament of the canberra city. Capital of Australia by the way.

Canberra - War Memorial

I did not like this memorial, a war memorial in canberra, which is kind of  un-congruent. because it is suposed to be to "remember" the tragedies of wars, all the people that died on them in order to avoid them.
However at the end of the museum, the last section is dedicated to the "heroes" and troops that are fighting actual wars.

Brisbane - South Bank

From the south part of Brisbane, in a place called South Bank you can have a view of the skyline and see some other structures from the art museum. I like this specific view because it has a little bit of both. However I would really recomend spending an evening walking over that part of the city. Unfortunately it was sunday and winter. Therefore not many places were opened to take a cofee. but stil the walk was amazing.

Old Brisbane

In the middle of the big buildings and new constructions, there are some remainings of the old brisbane, which give a nice/weird contrast of the old vs new.

Brisbane Skyscrapers

In brisbane, from the busines center you will find a nice view of big buildings. It looks nice either from far away and from down under.

Blue Mountains

I got this view when visiting the Blue mountains located 80Km north from Sydney.  I must admit that at the begining we thought it was not worth to drive there. In fact the road is not that appealing and you cant see anything from the road. We were just wondering if it was better to turn back and go somewhere else.

After a while we discover that you need to go a little bit off-road to find the gorges and nice views like this ones. At the end we were completely amazed and happy that we continue driving.

Free Ferry Ride to Manly

This little fellows got a free ride from Circular Quay (pronounced "key" I still dont know why) to Manly Bay. The trick is to hop on the ferry 1 minute after it has departed. There is plenty room to land safely on it.

Afterwards you can sit down and enjoy the view, afterall it is a 30 min ride.
